While his experience includes various Board participation and numerous Award-winning recognitions, Mr. Harrell’s role in Valencia Capital Group also oversees the launch of The Resorts of South Abaco in The Bahamas. He has considerable experience in complex resort/multi-family/residential real estate development, where he works closely with related professionals to create integrated master plan communities. Much of Mr. Harrell’s success arrives from an interstate automotive consortium, which includes luxury and fleet dealings, over 600 employees and over $325 million in annual sales.

Forrest King, M.D., CFP® Principal | President & Chief Operations Officer

Together with Steve Harrell, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. King formed Valencia Capital Group to structure real estate investments in North America and The Caribbean. Uniquely qualified as a Physician, Certified Financial Planner and in Licensed Real Estate, he holds a plethora of high knowledge and experience in each industry. Mr. King’s medical practices formed his foundational work in Emergency & Trauma Services, Medical & Physician Management, and Business & Financial Counsel through diverse Portfolio Investments. Within Valencia Capital Group, he also oversees the financial, environmental and economic impact for The Resorts of South Abaco in The Bahamas. Mr. King’s experience includes intimate financial management techniques in highly diverse market sectors, as a respected Registered Investment Advisor – including Technology, Broadcast & Entertainment, Medical & Health, High Wealth Executives and Fortune Corporations. He has received soaring praises for exceptional work toward Entrepreneurial Growth and Small Business Development, which comes from asset allocation, financial management and real estate investments.

Jon Guven Principal | Executive Senior Partner

Mr. Guven is the very definition of a true entrepreneur's success story. Under his father's supervision, Isa Guven, he launched his real estate, finance and retail interests with the highest standards of excellence. A third-generation jeweler, Jon branched into residential development and has since grown into master plan communities and retail shopping center developments in the most prestigious areas of Atlanta. In 2006, he became the majority shareholder of a national direct lender corporation – most recently, Mr. Guven has bought, owned and sold multi-million dollar real estate projects across North America and was nominated to the Top 50 CEOs Under Age 30 in 2007. Jon brings depth of understanding and know-how to the identification, design and fine appointments into high-end/luxury destinations. Thomas Boynton Vice President | Construction & Development

Mr. Boynton’s contributions to Valencia Capital Group apply the vital, broad strokes to create numerous environmentally “green” visions into reality. He provides the leadership and skills necessary to the design, planning and execution of concurrent projects across the spectrum that is development. The Resorts of South Abaco in The Bahamas will be one of his finest achievements, where each and every facet of executive project management will oversee its every stage and phase. Mr. Boynton applies his exceptional disciplines for infrastructure design throughout water capture, recycling and treatment, electrical and waste utilities, marina and golf course amenities, structural and construction engineering, and the latest in the implementation of smart technologies. His focus directs innumerable lines of communication for governmental agencies, engineers and designers, surveyors and assessors, administrative and field personnel, contractors and labor teams.

In the fields of highest skill, Mr. Boynton has participated on the recovery of nature’s finest resources – he has been called to solve hazardous and non-hazardous failures, while protecting the environment at all costs. Scott Spencer Vice President | Marketing & Business Development

Mr. Spencer is recognized for his breadth of experience in creative/design, planning/strategy and delivery/campaigns – he is a fourth-generation Landscape Architect/Land Planner/Designer and steers Valencia Capital Group’s approach to embrace true Environmental Stewardship. He brings deep knowledge in real estate across residential, mixed-use, commercial, resort and community levels – myriads of projects from concept to design, groundbreaking, launch and close-out. Mr. Spencer’s eye for core design and creative, branding, imagery and award-winning campaign execution stands atop a foundation of technical cross-media production in film/motion picture, broadcast/television and radio, web and print. The National Association of Home Builders/NAHB recognized his work for Gables Residential, in the largest public-to-private sector acquisition ($2.8 billion) by ING Clarion in 2005. Mr. Spencer's portfolio includes Carribbean and international, national, regional and the local stage as well.

Within Valencia Capital Group, Mr. Spencer’s interdisciplinary talents form to envision, design and launch The Resorts of South Abaco, South Abaco.Org and an international team of Strategic Alliances. Technically, Mr. Spencer is quite astute in digital asset creation and management – he is a standout for our growing list of new and ongoing projects.
